- 2
Marinate
Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets and let sit at room temperature for exactly 15 minutes.
- 3

Heat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Oil the grates well to prevent sticking.

Place salmon flesh-side down. Grill for 4-5 minutes until grill marks appear and the fish releases easily.
- 5
Finish
Flip carefully and grill for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through but still slightly pink in the center. Serve with fresh lemon wedges.
Cooking Tips
- Do not marinate the salmon for longer than 20 minutes, or the lemon acid will begin to 'cook' the fish, making it mushy.
- Leave the skin on during grilling to help hold the fish together and protect the delicate flesh.
Variations
- Oven-Baked: If you don't have a grill, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes.
Chef's Notes & Storage
- The salmon is perfectly cooked when the internal temperature reaches 125°F for medium-rare.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Best enjoyed cold flaked over a salad.
